I'm not a fan of the pool for swim meet. Not enough seating, not easy to get into the middle seats of the bleachers. Always hot and humid, much more so than other pools in the area.

Used just the fitness center and it was OK. For 37 bucks/member , may be they could do a little bit more by modernizing some of the machines. Membership also includes some activity like Tennis though we need to do some booking before we could access. They also have a nice swim pool.

June 20, 2025 I had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable yoga class with Lauren at this amazing establishment John B. Norris Recreation Center. Yeah, I was a bit nervous 😥 it’s been years since I stepped into a facility like this, however as soon as I walked through the doors, I was welcomed by the friendly staff and the face of Lauren…instantly I was put at 😫 ease. I signed in onto their login sheet and felt a mix of excitement and fire 🔥, ready to dive into what I thought would be a light, invigorating workout. Oh boy… was I wrong. 😅 Her class was both challenging and energizing in the best (and worst?) ways. Don’t let the peaceful music in the room fool you I was absolutely dying by the end of it! 🫠 Still, it felt amazing to push myself again. Lauren’s guidance was gentle but firm, and the whole experience reminded me of how powerful movement and breath can be. She’s able to remind you no matter what it’s ok to listen to your body and just go with the flow. Here’s to healing, strengthening, and not underestimating yoga again. 🧘🏽♀️✨ She does personal yoga classes if you are interested contact the staff for her information ℹ️ I was lucky 🍀 enough to meet my of he

5 star facility for tennis and everything else. Members can reserve courts for free during certain open hours each day. Non members can use it for $18 per hour. Courts are in great shape and has curtain dividers for minimal interruptions.
